Budgie is designed with the concept of 'spaces' at its core. We recommend creating a separate space for each aspect of your life.

What is a space?

Spaces offer a method to organize your data. For instance, you might have one space dedicated to your personal budget and another for your family budget. Exercise your creativity when arranging your data.

How to create a space

After you sign in to Budgie, you'll either land in an existing space or, if you don't have any spaces, you'll see a prompt to create one. The creation process is straightforward, asking only for the new space's name and the preferred currency.

How to edit a space

Click on the space name located at the bottom left of the page, then select "Settings." From the action window that appears, choose "Edit" to make your desired changes.

How to delete a space

Click on the space name located at the bottom left of the page, then select "Settings." From the action window that appears, choose "Delete". A summary will then be displayed, detailing the space resources that will be permanently removed upon confirmation.

What happens when I delete a space?

Please note that deleting a space will permanently erase all associated data, including categories, payees, payers, transactions, and more. This action is irreversible, so ensure you have carefully considered the decision before proceeding with the deletion.
